Guidelines for using Online Search tools

· Leave all optional fields as blank

· Enter as few letters as possible. Example: to search for ‘karunakar’, try entering ‘karun’ or even ‘kar’.

· Try using different variations of spelling. For example: to search for ‘Srinivas’, try ‘srini’ or ‘sri’ or ‘sree’.

· Try using surname, along with above two guidelines

· Try entering relative’s name, first name and surname, while applying all three above guidelines.

· Choose a different ‘gender’ field.

· Try all variations (by constituency, by PIN code) of search tool.

IF all above fails, get to know the part number of your address (your neighbors will have the same), and open the PDF file, with all voters in that part, and browse the sections.
